I'm assuming just about everyone has seen one of the greatest movies of last year by now. Some of us has seen it more than once and probably own it on DVD. However I heard about a few months ago that Warner Bros. Pictures is planning to Re-Release The Dark Knight on Jan. 23. So far its planned to re-open in theaters and IMAX on January 23, 2009, nationwide. So my question to all of you is, are you willing to return to theaters and watch it again? Just how dedicated are you people?

Thank you sir, the world could use more people like you. As for me, if I still have any money left later this month I'll take another trip to see The Dark Knight.

I have had a few incidents when in the middle of a movie the lines begins to appear, or has skip a frame and cut to the next scene.

I've got in on Blu Ray and an HD television in my brother's room. I'll just watch it in the privacy of my own home unless friends ask me to go see it with them again. Lots of extras on the Blu Ray.

Come on guy we all need to get we got to get our butts and anyone we knows butts the theaters chair. If they put it back in the theaters because I don't know about you but I don't want titanic to stay the number 1 selling movie of all time.
So lets all get our butts to the theater and make the Dark Knight dethrone Titanic

It was alright, but it had two flaws that kept me from going back to see it again, and that was who was playing Rachael and the way that the Joker was done. Now I know it shouldn't matter who played Bruce's girlfriend, but in all fairness, Maggie Gyllenhaal doesn't have the same screen presence as Katie Holmes did. Now for my favorite clown, he just wasn't as good as Jack Nicholson's version. Now before you go calling me a sadist and throwing holy water on me, just hear me out.
The first problem I have is he is a guy wearing make up, where as the Joker I've always known and lived didn't. Second is his love of knives, something that the Joker was always known to detest, preferring guns, bombs, crowbars, and finally his Smilax-gas. Now I'm not saying it wasn't a well done movie, epically with all the FX work and the Batpod, but the writers just let me down on this one. Also, and this is no disrespect towards Heath Ledger as he was one of the greatest actors of my generation, but I felt like I was watching Carnage from Spider-Man, instead of the Joker. There was really no method to his madness, where Joker always had a bigger scheme, then just trying to prove everyone was as heart-less as he is.
Now as far as everything else goes, I was very pleased with all the other acters, epically Gary Oldman's preformance as Jim Gordon, was flawless yet again. I can't wait to see the next one, I just hope the writers try to stay truer to the characters next time.
