Even though Bruce was an amazing fighter against the evil of the world, he could not do it alone. It seemed, that across the world however, that people had been lead by his example. They wanted to make a change in the world. So, it became a trend, as people world wide took on double lives in the name of good. But, wherever there is good, there must also always be evil to balance it out. And thus, with every super hero that is born, a super villain must come with him. And in many cases, many super villains arrive every day with every new hero.
Given the fact that Batman was quickly becoming a legend, in just the space of a couple of years, he attracted many upper level villains. Of course, this came at a bad time, considering he also found himself trying to save the very citizens that hated him, from these villains. But all the same, he fought against them, and put them in Arkham Assylum. And slowly, over time, it grew, but so did the darkness within Bruce. Until that day, that the boy who had just lost his family, came to Bruce wayne. And thus, Dick Grayson became the first Robin, The boy Wonder.
In a very short period of time, Robin became more and more popular, until even he was a legend among heroes. And that, was when he split off from Batman to follow his own path within Bludhaven. But, across the world, more and more super heroes were coming, and villains became more and more common, until one day, something would have to be done. But for now, Batman waited in Gotham, until it seemed, that Gotham was once again, coming into a time of peace and prosperity.
Now, in this time of peace, everything seems okay. Although many evils still exist within the world, the greatest evils to ever walk the streets of Gotham are locked away in Arkham, where they belong. but, unknown to the likes of Batman and his protoge, Tim Drake as well as all of his past teammates, the villains have taken over Arkham, and become the greatest mass of villains to ever walk the earth. And now, the group known only as The Inmates, have taken over the inside of the Assylu, and use it as a base to control not only the evil's done withint he limits of Gotham, but across the country. And it is thus, that Batman will need the help of other rising heroes, in order to defeat the coming evil.[/ul]
