Build: He's a big man but not overly so, muscular and athletic due to his years of fighting the various Flashes.
General Description: Cold is a tall, somewhat imposing man with broad shoulders and a face that has been weathered from both age and the stresses of villainy. He wears a blue and white parka, similar to that of the Inuit but more form fitting with a white holster for his freeze gun as well as a visor to protect his eyes from the flash from his freeze gun.
Personality: Cold is a person who despite his career in villainy, does not believe in absolute evil nor absolute good, only shades of grey. This is because of the fact during his long career he has seen people on both sides of the law commit both great good and great evil. He and his team, The Rogues, have a code that they adhere to, mostly out of self-preservation, only breaking it in extreme cases or by accident. He lives up to his name as a cold, distant person, his difficult childhood as well as his cold personality has affected his people skills to the point that he can barely maintain relationships with people other than the people he works with is because of the sense of companionship and organization. However he is capable of some compassion, for example, sending flowers to honor Sue Dibney, wife of Elongated Man.
Powers: None but uses a freeze gun that allows him to freeze objects to absolute zero as well as maintaining an extensive knowledge of cryonics.
Weakness: He is a standard human with standard human weaknesses. He doesn't like things to get personal and if they do, there is nothing short of his death that will stop him from coming down on the offender.
History: Leonard "Len" Snart was raised by an abusive father and took refuge in his grandfather who worked in an ice truck. When his grandfather died, Len began his criminal career, during the early years of his career he read an article that theorized that the energy from a cyclotron could interfere with the Flash's speed and so, he built a weapon to harness the power of the cyclotron and broke into a lab to charge the weapon. After being surprised by a security guard, Cold fired his gun and was amazed to discover that the weapon caused the moisture in the air to freeze. Intrigued by this development, Leonard Snart donned a parka and visor to protect his eyes from the flashes from his gun and became Captain Cold, the man who conquered absolute zero.
When Barry Allen died, Len was convinced by his sister, Lisa also known as Golden Glider to give up a life of crime, during this time he became a bounty hunter.
However this would not last because several years later Cold and the rest of the Rogues sold their souls to the demon Neron in exchange for heightened abilities. However Wally West was able to rescue their souls and return them to their mortal forms, after which they returned to their previous lives of crime.
When Bart Allen took on the mantle of the Flash, the Rogues were approached by a Speedster named Inertia who proposed that they kill the new Flash, unfortunately despite Inertia's defeat a combined assault from the Rogues killed Bart. However, once they learned just who this Flash was and how old he was, he, The Weather Wizard, Mark Mardon and Heat Wave, Mick Rory express guilt and regret.

The man lifted his bottle to his lips, eyes fixated on the soft glow of the television set in front of him. Suddenly he flew into a rage, hurling his beer at the television. "Oh that is such crap! They was deliberate, even a kid could see it!"
Leonard Snart better known as Captain Cold was taking part in one of his favorite pastimes, watching the Keystone Combines play hockey. It was an away game and they were losing. Mostly due to, by Cold's reckoning, biased referees. He grit his teeth in frustration, watching the game continue.
The game continued it's path to loss for the Combines and Len made a frustrated growl, looking at the broken glass and spilled beer on the floor near the tv. "Now I don't even have a damn beer to drink." He said as he stood up to get a broom to clean up the mess.
